Peaceful but Profane: “No Kings” Protest Targets Trump in Crescent City

Organizers of the National No Kings rally gathered a crowd of about 250–300 protesters who displayed criticism of President Donald Trump. The protesters were peaceful, but the contempt and disrespect towards the 47th as palpable. Foul and coarse language directed by some members of the crowd toward passing vehicles was evident.

This event was the third such anti-Trump event in the last six months in Crescent City.

Saturday’s afternoon event opposed deportation of criminal illegal aliens by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), recognition of transgender participation in juvenile and adult athletics, and budget adjustments following the passing of the Big, Beautiful Bill into law.
