Missing Surfer Found Safe

Follow-up — it’s all good news. The missing surfer/swimmer has been located safe and well. The local man entered South Beach off Anchor Way, and witnesses observed him going under the surf early Friday morning. Eye on Del Norte posted the missing swimmer notice from the DNSO Facebook page.

He exited South Beach several miles to the south. Better safe than sorry. The individual self-reported his safety to Sheriff Scott late Sunday afternoon.
