Gerrymandering on Steroids: Newsom’s Prop 50 Power Grab PASSES

11-5-2025 - Not unsurprisingly, voters approved Gov. Newsom's Prop. 50 redistricting measure. The passing of Prop. 50 may reduce at least four Republican congressional seats. The Newsom-supported measure will effectuate a bluer Golden State — Newsom's sinister move toward the UGLIFICATION of America. It’s gerrymandering on steroids!

The attack on 40 percent of California's voting population will now set several other states off in redistricting. When the smoke settles, California Republicans may lose five congressional seats but gain an additional 19 from other states seeking electoral redistribution in the House. The Newsom pyrrhic victory will probably launch the outgoing governor’s goal of being the Democratic Party’s nominee for the 2028 presidential campaign.

Democrats, celebrate for now, but your toxic policies will fail across the country. Elsewhere, it was a blue night. President Trump was not on the ballot. The President’s influence and endorsements were not enough to pull his chosen candidates over the finish line.

Fret not — no one said making America great again would be an easy journey. For me, this one day makes me more resolute, more emboldened.
