Del Norte’s First Baby of 2026 Is Born

January 2, 2026– Welcome aboard, Cooper Miles Hill. Del Norte has been eagerly awaiting your arrival.

Cooper was the first baby delivered in the New Year by Sutter Coast OB/GYN Dr. John Kirk on Friday, January 2, 2026, at 9:43 p.m. Shawna Wilson delivered an eight-pound, five-ounce, 21½-inch strapping baby boy, with proud father David Hill looking on.

When asked about their choice of a middle name, the Hill family shared that “De Jean” was chosen in honor of Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Cooper DeJean.
