Daylight Savings Time Ends Sunday November 2
Nighttime will fall an hour earlier November 2 at 2 AM across North America and the Northern Hemisphere when we “fall back” one hour to Pacific Standard Time early Sunday morning. The good news is most of us will have an extra hour of sleep on November 1. We “Spring Forward” the first weekend in March, 2026.
Daylight Saving Time was created by Congress in November 1918 in an effort to benefit farmers with an extra hour of daylight after the Vernal Equinox, so farmers could continue to harvest their crops. Australia, New Zealand, and most of South America will enjoy the extra hour of daylight.
Don't forget to fall back one hour Sunday morning, November 2.
