Carrying the Torch: Students Launch Turning Point USA Chapter at Del Norte High

October 24, 2025 - Several students inaugurated the first meeting of the Charlie Kirk Turning Point USA chapter on the campus of Del Norte High School, Thursday. President Addison Whitford welcomed students and will hold their meetings every other Thursday at 12:35 p.m. Turning Point is solely for students.

The chapter has been formed in memory of Charlie Kirk's legacy by carrying forward his values and principles, inspiring the next generation to take action in leadership roles in the community.

Club America–Del Norte sponsors the group on campus.

These students are praised and recognized as pioneers who will undertake tough questions on morality and uphold the very highest and most exemplary standards of social behavior.

Addison is supported by Natasha DeNicholas, Vice President, and Melody Brennan, pictured below along with a group picture of Thursday’s students.
